Aim: To identify valid tools to elicit colleague and patient feedback, clarify the details of how feedback should be administered and agree what is base-line satisfactory patient and colleague feedback .

All doctors will be required to seek feedback from colleagues and if they have any patient contact in their clinical role, from patients, at least once in the five year revalidation cycle

There has been considerable work on developing such feedback for doctors by the GMC and others. The MAG will need to give guidance on the most appropriate systems to use and a suitable specification of the contents.
